This page outlines Hat Phones’ return, phone warranty, and repair warranty policies. Please read carefully before purchasing or submitting a device for repair.
Returns & Exchanges
Hat Phones offers a 15-day return policy on phones and devices. You have 15 days from the date of purchase to request a return or exchange.
Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return:

The device must be in the same condition as when sold

The device must show no physical or liquid damage

Original receipt or proof of purchase is required

Phone Warranty Coverage
All phones sold by Hat Phones include a limited warranty that covers manufacturing defects and hardware-related issues under normal use.
Examples of Covered Issues

Touchscreen or display failure

Speaker or microphone malfunction

Battery failure or abnormal battery drain

Charging port failure or charging issues

Device not powering on due to a hardware defect
If a covered issue occurs within the warranty period stated on your receipt, Hat Phones will repair or replace the device at no additional cost.
What Is Not Covered (Phone Warranty)
The phone warranty does not cover:

Accidental damage, including drops, cracks, or impact damage

Liquid damage, spills, or liquid submersion
-
Damage caused by faulty, third-party, or incompatible accessories
-
Loss or theft of the device
-
Cosmetic wear and tear
-
Forgotten passwords, locked devices, or data loss

Any pre-existing conditions disclosed before purchase
Phone Warranty Terms

During the warranty period, Hat Phones may repair or replace the device with a refurbished or certified pre-owned device of equal value and condition. Brand-new replacements are not guaranteed.

In some cases, a cash payout equal to the replacement value may be offered instead of a replacement device.

Warranty coverage is void if the device shows signs of:

Unauthorized repair or modification

Physical or liquid damage after purchase

Customers must remove all personal data before returning a device, including passwords, security locks, SIM cards, and memory cards.

Devices that cannot be reset due to forgotten passwords cannot be accepted.

Hat Phones is not responsible for personal data left on returned devices.
Devices may be inspected or diagnosed to confirm warranty eligibility. Diagnostic checks may be required before approval.
Warranty on Repairs
All repair services performed by Hat Phones include a limited repair warranty covering only the specific part or service completed.
Repair Warranty Exclusions
The repair warranty becomes void if:

The device experiences any physical or liquid damage after the repair

A new or unrelated issue develops after the original repair

The device is opened, modified, or repaired by a third party
No Fix, No Fee Guarantee
If Hat Phones is unable to repair the reported issue, you will not be charged for the repair service.
Data Backup & Responsibility
Customers are responsible for backing up all data before submitting a device for repair, including photos, contacts, applications, and software.
Hat Phones accepts no liability for the loss, corruption, or deletion of data during repair or diagnostics.
Final Sale Items
Accessories, clearance items, and special-order products may be final sale, unless found to be defective.
